After graduating from the University of Gloucestershire with a 2:1 in Advertising and a D&AD New Blood Award Kris decided to make the switch from Advertising to Photography.

He took a job on the Picture Desk of his local newspaper, where he sharpened his retouch skills and started shooting pictures for the first time. After less than a year Kris found himself being appointed the Deputy Picture Editor as well as regularly shooting pictures for Trinity Mirror Southern's collection of over 40 local news titles.

Kris left Trinity Mirror Southern in May 2010 and went to Channel 4, where he acted as a Photographer, Videographer, Picture Editor and Video Editor. The next year and a half saw Kris regularly creating bespoke image and video content for Channel 4 as well as producing images for Channel 4's syndicated Video on Demand platforms such as YouTube or BT Vision.

Nowadays, Kris is the Picture Editor at Channel 5, creating and editing picture content for Channel 5 and its Video on Demand platforms.

In his spare time, Kris works as a freelance Photographer and Image Retoucher, capturing and editing pictures of weddings, news stories, sports or product shots for anyone who may require his services.
